With an area of about 5,164 square metres, it will have 155 private property interests resumed under the Lands Resumption Ordinance.

The site will be redeveloped for “residential use with retail and commercial facilities, as well as underground ancillary parking and loading and unloading facilities.”

It added that the affected interests would revert to the government three months from the date on which resumption notices are posted on-site.

Apart from statutory compensation, eligible domestic property owners will be “offered an ex-gratia home purchase allowance or a supplementary allowance.”

Qualified domestic tenants will be offered rehousing or an ex-gratia allowance.

Affected private households were posted on the Hong Kong government website.
