
Why Hong Kong needs to attract top firms for Lok Ma Chau Loop tech park
The project is set to contribute $57b every year.
Science and Technology Parks Corporation chairwoman Fanny Law Fan Chiu-fun said Hong Kong must create the necessary environment to attract top companies and experts for it to capitalise on the opportunities triggered by the future technology park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop.
A report from the South China Morning Post said the border innovation and technology park, which was unveiled in January following a decade of discussions, will be developed and managed by the Science Park. The government estimates the project will bring $57b in economic benefits to Hong Kong every year.
