
Q3 land transactions hit 17 registrations
Total land premium is worth around $5.87 billion.
According to a government release, the Lands Department registered 14 lease modifications and three land exchanges in the Land Registry during the third quarter, of which seven were modifications of a technical nature involving nil premium.
Among these transactions, nine are on Hong Kong Island, four in Kowloon and four in the New Territories. Small House cases are excluded.
Another two lots were granted by private treaty during the period. One was granted to the Urban Renewal Authority for residential development at the Kai Tak Development and the other was for an electricity substation on Stonecutters Island.
The land transactions had realised a total land premium of about $5.87 billion.
